The BACB has created an online contact form that allows certificants and other stakeholders to submit requirements recommendations to our subject matter expert committees. If you have recommendations that you would like the committee to hear at their next requirements review, please complete the Certification Program Requirements: Requests for Future Changes contact form. This is an easy and efficient way to suggest certification requirements updates and changes directly to the BACB.
In the latest episode of Inside the BACB, learn how the BACB differs from a professional membership association and the roles of each. BACB CEO Jim Carr and Deputy CEO Melissa Nosik will also shine a light on the existing BACB policies and programs to support and encourage activities focused on diversity.
Due to social distancing requirements during the COVID–19 pandemic, the BACB will allow temporary deviations for certain "with a client" requirements. As of March 1, the "observation with a client" sub–requirement that applies to Experience and Fieldwork will be temporarily waived for those without access to clients.
In addition, all RBT competency assessments received as of April 28, 2020 will allow "with a client" tasks to be fulfilled via "role play."
