We are pleased to announce the results of our recent Board of Directors election: Florence DiGennaro Reed, BCBA–D, and Adel Najdowski, BCBA–D, were each elected to serve a three–year term on the board, and SungWoo Kahng, BCBA–D, was re–elected to serve an additional three–year term. We offer our congratulations to the elected directors and our gratitude to all of the candidates for running. We also extend our thanks to the certificants who participated in this important election.
The BACB has launched its new Certificant Registry, which offers enhanced convenience, capabilities, and navigation. With all BACB certificants now listed in one registry, verifying certification has never been easier. Powerful filters allow users to customize searches by certification type or status, and find certificants willing to serve as supervisors as well as those with current disciplinary actions.
Following a multiyear evaluation, consultation and training from the certification industry, and extensive deliberation among the BACB's leadership, the BACB Board of Directors voted in August 2019 by majority to substantially revise the BACB's international focus.
