I can’t add my attesting certificant when entering my RBT Certification Application Attestation in the RBT Certification Application. What might be the issue?

There are a few possible reasons:
- You may have entered an incorrect certification number or BACB ID. Double-check with your attesting certificant to confirm the correct number.
- The number may be correct, but your attesting certificant may not have been fully qualified during the dates you entered. Review the attestor certificant qualifications in the RBT Handbook and confirm with your attesting certificant that they met all the requirements during your training period.
- Your attesting certificant may have a disciplinary sanction that prohibits them from serving in this role. Please refer to the BACB Certificant Registry and the BACB Disciplinary Actions web page for more information.
