I can’t add my supervisor when entering my fieldwork hours in the BCBA or BCaBA Certification Application. What might be the issue?
- There are a few possible reasons:
- You may have entered an incorrect certification number or BACB ID. Double-check with your supervisor to confirm the correct number.
- Confirm that you selected the correct entry type (Certification number vs. BACB ID number) and entered the BACB ID or certification number in the correct format.

- If the number is correct, your supervisor may not have met the qualification requirements for the dates you entered. Review the supervisor qualifications in the relevant handbook and confirm with your supervisor that they met all the applicable requirements.
- Your supervisor may have a disciplinary sanction that prohibits them from serving in this role. Please refer to the BACB Certificant Registry and BACB Disciplinary Actions web page for more information.
