Non-english transcripts must include English translations.

The BACB has two means of allowing contact with certificants: the certificant registry and the mass email service. 

The certificant registry is free resource that consumers, licensing authorities, and employers can use to verify certification status, and it not allowed to be for commercial purposes (including but not limited to sale of products, sending surveys, soliciting employment, and sending information about educational or professional programs). For more information, please visit the Terms of Use page. To use the registry, please click the Verify a Certificant button to the right. 

The mass email service is a pay-to-use service that allows 3rd parties related to the behavior analysis industry to deliver commercial-use messages to certificants who have opted into the service. Customers of the service can choose their audience by certification, location, and type of message, but the list will be blind (customers will have an estimated size of their audience based on their segment choices, but they will not have access to the list or the email addresses within it). For more information on the mass email service, please use the button to the left. 

The BACB does not distribute certificant email addresses under any circumstances.

If you are requesting information about an active ethics matter, please use the Responding to Requests form and select the Updates About a Notice of Alleged Violation/Open Case option from the dropdown menu. This will help ensure that your question is routed appropriately. You should also use the Responding to Requests form if you have a question about a published disciplinary action related to your BACB certification or when submitting documents for other ethics matters. If you do not have a Case ID number, please enter N/A in the Notice Case ID field.

Q: HOW CAN I ACCESS OR RESET MY BACB ACCOUNT PASSWORD?

On the BACB Account login page, below where you normally place your email address and password, there is an option called "Reset Your Password." Please use this option if you have forgotten your password or need to reset your password while not logged in to your BACB Account.

Please note that you will need access to the email address associated with your BACB Account. Q: I RESET MY PASSWORD BUT NOTHING HAPPENED. WHAT DO I DO?

If, after using the "Reset Your Password" option on the BACB Account login page, you did not receive an email notification prompting you to set a new password, do not attempt to reset your password again. This likely means the email address address you entered is not associated with your BACB Account. Q: WHAT IF I NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS USED IN MY BACB ACCOUNT?

Every BACB Account is associated with a single email address. You can log into your BACB Account so long as you remember that email address and your password, even if you do not have access to that email address anymore. However, the BACB recommends you use the "Email Address Change" option in your account to keep your contact information up to date.

If you no longer have access to the email address associated with your account (or you do not know which email address was used) and you cannot remember your password, do not attempt to use the "Reset Your Password" option on the BACB Account login page. Q: HOW DO I PAY AN INVOICE FROM WITHIN MY BACB ACCOUNT? 

Once you have logged into your account, you will have several tabs to pick from. From the Profile tab, select the Billing link. You can then select any outstanding invoices and pay them. You can also review any previously paid invoices.

Q: HOW CAN I CHANGE MY NAME OR OTHER CONTACT INFORMATION ON MY ACCOUNT?

Once you have logged into your account, you will have several tabs to pick from. From the Profile tab, select the Update Profile link. You can then use the various drop-downs and fillable areas to make changes to your account information. To request a name change or an email address change, you will need to use the buttons at the bottom of the page.

Q: WHY AM I NOT RECEIVING EMAILS RELATED TO THE MASS EMAIL SERVICE (EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, CONTINUING EDUCATION NOTICES, ETC.)?

Once you have logged into your account, you will have several tabs to pick from. From the Profile tab, select the Email Preferences link. You can then use the radio options to select which types of emails you will receive from the mass email service. If all of your settings in your account are correct and you are still not receiving these types of emails, you may have unsubscribed from the list at some point of time. Keeping the BACB informed about changes to your name is necessary for acquiring or maintaining BACB certification. To help the BACB better know how to update or change the name in your BACB Account, you will need to specify why you need a name change.

BACB certificates are mailed to the address on file in a certificant’s BACB account when a certificant a) initially becomes certified and b) after they have recertified. Please allow at least 6 weeks (and potentially more if you reside outside the US) after your initial certification or recertification date to receive your certificate as they are mailed in batches by a printer.
