Types of Appeals
Individuals have the right to appeal certain decisions made by BACB staff or committees. Appeals policies and procedures are classified into two main areas:
-
Administrative Appeals
The Administrative Appeals process allows individuals to appeal adverse decisions related to eligibility, certification, or recertification. More information and instructions on how to appeal a decision via this process can be found on the Administrative Appeals page.
Note: BACB standards, deadlines, procedures, fees, examination content, specific test questions, and/or answers may not be appealed. -
Disciplinary Appeals
The Disciplinary Appeals process allows individuals to appeal consequences as part of a Disciplinary Review or summary action. More information about the disciplinary review and appeals process can be found in the Code-Enforcement Procedures.
