The BCaBA exam application is completed online (there are no longer paper: applications, renewals, or recertifications) through the BACB Gateway. After completing an online application, additional required documents must be mailed to the BACB in one complete packet. Applicants may pay the application fee online or choose to mail a check with their supplemental documents. Once an application is approved, we will send an authorization to the test delivery company, Pearson VUE, allowing the applicant to schedule an appointment to take the exam. More Information

1. Official, original-source verification of an acceptable degree (e.g., official transcripts).
2. Official, original-source verification of acceptable coursework (syllabi are required if coursework is not from a verified course sequence)
3. Experience verification form(s) with supervisor’s original signature.

Applicants may retake the exam within two years of their initial approval and only after exam results have been released. The application is completed online through the BACB Gateway. Email approval will be sent within 24 hours of completing application and payment.
